Zuni Bear Fetish : The spirit of the animal remained in the stone, like the life force remains in a seed. The Zuni believe that if you place a small button filled with corn meal under the nose of the Zuni Bear when you leave your home it will protect it while your away. Its strength and well being are passed on to the owner.
